# Add new line item to update purchase order 2024 Update?

We noticed that using the new shipping app that you are now able to add products after they are created. Do we know when we will be able to do this via the API?

Hello @bytechase there are no short-term plans to add that, but we do have it in the pipeline to add at some point.
