# GraphQL API continues to use my old password

I changed my personal account’s password on June 8th.  
The GraphQL API still does not recognize my new password, two months later.

Hi @askthebird  
That is correct, we currently have an engineer working on this.  
I’m assuming you are using the **[https://public-api.shiphero.com/auth/token](https://public-api.shiphero.com/auth/token)** endpoint when the token expires.  
In that case you could use the **[https://public-api.shiphero.com/auth/refresh](https://public-api.shiphero.com/auth/refresh)** and use the refresh token instead of using the username and password  
Let me know if I could provide a more detailed example about it.

I will let you know as soon as I have an update about this fix.
