# Issues with new line characters in USPS url

Hello,

fulfillment.custom\_tracking\_url seems to adding a new line character to USPS tracking urls?

Does anyone know why this is occurring for shipments webhooks?

It looks like this is also breaking the url on the admin side as well. The link looks like this on the admin side: [https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction\_input?strOrigTrackNum=](https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?strOrigTrackNum=)

API: [https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction\_input?strOrigTrackNum=""92346903060085300001160509](https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction_input?strOrigTrackNum=%22%2292346903060085300001160509)

This is impacting our tracking links down the line as Shopify is dealing with the same issue as shiphero admin is where it breaks the link apart and doesn’t include the tracking url.

Hey @ed_antiquecandle,

Apologies for the delay here.

I wanted to ask if Order 377883563 was broken on Shopify side as well? I noticed that there was a line break in the webhook body for that tracking url.

Also is it possible to share any screenshots of what this looks like on the Shopify side of things? You can PM me, if the information is sensitive.

Hello,

It looks like either you or Shippo fixed the issue with the USPS tracking links. They no longer have the random new line characters.
