# Products query should support "active" parameter

It would save a lot of traffic on your servers as well as make our code more efficient.

Please make your Products query support an “active” parameter. I would think that most app developers doing anything with product collections will agree.

Hi @bbarrett!  
This is on our To DO list currently, [so it will be added](https://community.shiphero.com/t/no-active-field-in-product-objects/336/7) (I do not have an exact ETA though)  
I will let you know as soon as I have an update about it.
