We already count with one generation label webhook. Our response to a label generation request already contains fields like: " shipping_carrier " and " shipping_name "
We want to know if it’s possible to show that info on the Shipments panel from the order details page.

At the moment we only display the name of the method only.
This is shipping carrier: We set it to be Api by default to distinguish it from regular carrier’s and then we set the Method to be the one defined for the endpoint.
What would be the use case for displaying this?

In our end (webhook) we use different carriers and methods. We would like to see that reflected on shiphero web portal, with purposes of clarity for the user. “Api - flexlogic” sounds pretty generic. And since we already return that information, we are interested in showing it.

I just logged a Request for this to be changed and display the Method and Carrier sent back with the webhook.

Thanks for understanding @kipez, and I apologize for the lack of context.
It’s a decision based on the resources we have for working on this.
Eventually, this screen will be replaced, as a part of our migration to the new UI (like the one we have at http://shipping.shiphero.com/ )
This Order page has a legacy code that is not being worked on for improvements but only if there is a bug.
So I logged this ticket so it can be considered when making that migration and re-open if possible then.

Hello, I would like to check in on the status of this FR. Since ShipHero doesn’t allow us to upload list of shipments to orders via CSV, we need be to be at min update orders via API with proper shipping carrier and method. Please advise if this will ever be allowed.

could you please explain why this is so difficult to implement? You are allowing tracking number updates but it is useless if we can’t specify carrier and method for a tracking number.
