Delay in receiving webhooks?

What kind of timing delay should we expect for an inventory_update webhook? We’ve noticed recently that they seem to be coming in many hours after the change is made.

As a single example, SKU LK06087-SC increased its on_hand count and the ShipHero dashboard inventory log shows it was increased at 06/29/2020 09:45:20 AM ET.

We received the inventory update webhook for this change at 06/29/2020 21:34:43 UTC, roughly 8 hours later.

Thanks for the heads up!, our Engineers are currently working on optimizing webhooks these days.
A few changes are being made for this webhook (on the backend), we are hoping to have it ready by the end of today.
This will be impacting what you mentioned above.
I will let you know as soon as I have an update about this.
