Inventory not adjusting after shipping items

I would like to preface this by saying it’s not actually an API issue - I tried submitting a support ticket but it’s erroring. It’s an issue with the backend/a bug or something that we’re noticing in the UI.

We have new skus of products that we launched recently and we’re noticing that when we ship the new skus, the inventory levels don’t update.

The only thing they have in common is the ™ symbol in the SKU. I suspect that’s the issue but if I could get a confirmation, that’d be great!
