Item Image Update Issue

Hi,

While I am updating the Item Image By using the Product mutation, its not updating the existing image, but its adding new image. Can you please check and let us know how we can update the image on existing image ?

I apologize for my delayed response to this.

That is correct, the product update mutation will only allow you to add images, but not delete existing ones.
The ones that need to be deleted will need to be deleted using the app for now.
Would you like me to submit a feature request for an image_delete mutation or something similar?

We are doing some work on the Public API regarding performance at this moment, so I wouldn’t expect this to be available soon, but I will let you know as soon as I have a better ETA.

We are currently going inside the code freeze period. This means that we won’t be touching the code unless it’s extremely necessary to avoid potential issues in this last part of the year (which is critical for e-commerce business).
So Feature Requests will be resumed at the beginning of 2021.
