Shipment Error - Webshipper (DHL)

Hi !

I get error when i’m trying to create labels with this shipping method:
webshipper_io__dhlfreight/DHL - Service Point

Error code:
invalid literal for int() with base 10: ‘DHL - Service Point’

Anyone knows what’s up with this error ?

*We have another shipping method to create labels thru Webshipper that works flawless:
webshipper_io__postnordse/PostNord Varubrev

Hi @merchworld!
Any chance the Method name is DHL Sverige - Service Point?
Let me know if that still doesn’t work.
Thanks in advance!

Hi @tomasw

Thanks for the hint, i renamed it to DHL Service Point
(webshipper_io__dhlfreight/DHL Service Point)

Now i’m getting this error code:
GraphQL error: must be present and a service code applied.
Alternatiely a shipping rate id must be assigned

Any more ideas ?

Thx
Marcus

Hi @merchworld
Do you happen to have an order number/id or a requeste_id I could check?
That way I can see what the account is and get a better insight into that error.
Thanks again!
Tom

Hi @tomasw

  • On wednesday evening i manage to push out a label for DHL Service Point (SE)
    Order id: 147399356

  • Now in back with a 3rd error message:
    expected string or bytes-like object

Order id: 150360416

I’ve been in contact with both ShipHero & Webshipper and yet i haven’t received
any sane information about why it didn’t work, why it worked, and now why it doesn’t work again =/

2 errors, 1 label, 1 error after i’m quite

  • I’ve attached the shipment label for order id: 147399356 when it worked on wednesday.

Hi @merchworld
I just wanted to let you know that we already escalated this to our engineers.
It is not Public API related but I will let you know if there is any progress with that.
The support team has already been noticed about this and will also be monitoring the issue.
Thanks in advance for the patience while we work on this!

Hi @tomasw

Feels quite like a public-api error … =/

Now we are able to push labels for all shopify store:

For orders that comes from public.api:
error: expected string or bytes-like object

But also, last week it didn’t work for orders from any source.

The orders from public-api is of course the only one that is going to use this shipping option
Later on we gonna start using it for other shops as well.

hello @merchworld we already escalated this error: expected string or bytes-like object to our engineering team, they are working to solve it asap.
